The Typical Cookery Demonstration Agenda:
10am for a 10.30am start, ending around 1pm. All recipes have been carefully created by “Cherie” to showcase her passion for cookery and her understanding of today’s busy lifestyles with time saving think ahead ideas and helpful hints. Based in the pretty North Hampshire village of Mapledurwell each demonstration is designed for real people and combines dishes with flavour packed ideas that taste and look amazing, delivered in Cherie’s unique style.
From a young age, Cherie has had a very keen interest in food and the creative art of cooking it. When she turned 19, she left her home in Northern Ireland for London, to follow her passion for food. After some time working as a counter girl in Villandry, a French Delicatessen, she earned enough money to complete a course at the renowned Leith’s School of Food and Wine. After graduating, she combined her culinary skills with travelling and became a private chef. Following on from that, Cherie took a teaching position at Leith’s and later spent some time working for catering companies, The Admiral Crichton and Rhubarb. In 1997 Cherie started up her own catering company “Flavour Passion” in Clapham, London, specialising in drinks parties, buffets, dinners and lunches.
Moving from London to Hampshire, near Surrey, and starting a family added another dimension to creative cooking for Cherie. Set in her welcoming kitchen, Cherie’s cooking demonstrations highlight her great understanding of flavour combinations, seasonal ingredients and that time is often a luxury when feeding family and friends.

Whether it’s preparing a cosy school night supper or a special get-together with friends, her recipes provide inspiration. Each cook will interpret them in different ways but, with a bit of planning, nothing is too difficult or time-consuming.
