CHERIE'S STORY

From a young age, Cherie has had a very keen interest in food and the creative art of cooking it. When she turned 19, she left her home in Northern Ireland for London, to follow her passion for food. After some time working as a counter girl in Villandry, a French Delicatessen, she earned enough money to complete a course at the renowned Leith’s School of Food and Wine. After graduating, she combined her culinary skills with travelling and became a private chef. Following on from that, Cherie took a teaching position at Leith’s and later spent some time working for catering companies, The Admiral Crichton and Rhubarb. In 1997 Cherie started up her own catering company “Flavour Passion” in Clapham, London, specialising in drinks parties, buffets, dinners and lunches.

timetable Autumn/Winter 2018: I will be demonstrating my new get ahead, easy to do recipes which are great for casual, yet impressive get-togethers for family and friends over the Autumn and Winter months.  As always you will be able to get lots done in advance which should help make your entertaining as stress free as possible. The price is £45 per person which includes coffee and homemade treats, the cookery demonstration, tasting of the dishes and a copy of Cherie’s own recipe booklet to take home. Agenda: 10am for a 10.30am start, ending around 1pm. All recipes have been carefully created by “Cherie” to showcase her passion for cookery and her understanding of today’s busy lifestyles with time saving think ahead ideas and helpful hints.  Based in the pretty North Hampshire village of Mapledurwell each demonstration is designed for real people and combines dishes with flavour packed ideas that taste and look amazing, delivered in Cherie’s unique style.
